Last Day Reflection

  • what did you learn about photography that you didn't know before?

Some thing that i learned in photography is how to use photoshop really good. I liked that we edited our pictures on there and now i wish that i had photoshop at my house. I loved the self photo project it was really creative and probably the most fun assignment that we got to work on.  Some things that i didn't know about photo though is the perfect lighting that should be in a photo. that to much light can make the picture turn out bad especially if there is to little of light. But over all threw the course of this semester long class i loved being outside and taking pictures, using photoshop, learning new technics for cameras, even learning that you can buy things for your cell photo to make amazing photos.

  • what did you learn about yourself this semester?

This semester i learned that i can be creative with my photos. I learned that i can use photo shop and that i am pretty good at it:)! Another thing i learned about my self is that i don't see photography really as a carer for me. Taking photos is great and well a picture means a thousand words right? I have learned that i should take a picture of things that give me meaning or a good feeling or just something that i do love. Then i will always have a picture of that special moment or memory so then i can always can reflect back on that day.

  • what do you wish we had done that we did not?

Something that i wish we did that we didn't do is i wish that we did more film pictures. At my other school we did all film pictures and i really liked the result of those pictures. I also wish we did Gif Photos if that is even possible for a photo class. Other than that i am pretty thrilled about all the stuff that we did in class. I liked that we did macros, portraits, and light.

  • what was your struggle?

something that i struggled with was, the blur photos. i could never get the right timing. The person in the photo would end up blurring and the street would end up not blurry. That is one assignment that i struggled with a lot. I  also struggled with making the picture look like a little clay world. That assignment i thought was especially tough. Making the angle perfect and the saturation look realistic enough was pretty tough for me.

  • what did you conquer?

I conquered that photo may not be a carer in my future. But taking photos is fun.
