1.The Brownie camera was a very basic cardboard box camera with a simple meniscus lens that took 2¼-inch square pictures on 117 rollfilm. With its simple controls, it was intended to be a camera that anyone could afford and use
2. The camera was was made by Eastman Kodak. Also this camera was introduced in the 1900s.
3. This changed society because the camera was so simple by just a push of a button. It changed the photography world because it first introduced the concept of the snapshot.
1. Daguerrotype was the first successful photographic process founded in January of 1839. The surface resembled a silvered copper plate or a mirror like reflection. Daguerrotype replaced the old process of the camera obscura which was invented by Joseph Nicephore Niepce.
2.Albumen was the main ingredient in the albumen process. Albumen is found in egg whites and was popular in the mid to late 1800's. The Albumen process died out during the turn of the 20th century.
3. A stereograph is a form of catching a 3D image or being able to give an illusion by showing depth. This was popular from 1865-1880's.
4.Carte de visite was a type of small photograph which was patented in Paris, France by Andre Aldophe Eugene Disderi in 1854 but was first used by Louis Dodero. It was usually used as an albumen print. They were pretty much used as visiting cards so people traded them and carried small photographs.
5.Matthew Brady and Alexander Gardner were both photographers that took images of the war. It's also known as photojournalism. They worked in 1856.
A) Nicéphore Niépce was born on March 7th, 1765 and he died on July 5th, 1833. He was a French inventor.And was part of the French army under Napoleon. Also he is mostly known for being the first to create photography.
